If you’ve not yet managed to make time for “BEEF” season 2, I’d definitely suggest getting caught up. The first season of this searing comedy-drama spiralled out from a road-rage incident involving Ali Wong and Steven Yeun; this time, “BEEF” season 2’s epic rivalry involves two couples.
Here, we meet millennial country club manager, Josh (Oscar Isaac), and his partner, Lindsay (Carey Mulligan), and a newly-engaged younger pair of Gen Zers — Austin (Charles Melton) and Ashley (Cailee Spaeny) — who both work as low-level staff at the country club. When Austin and Ashley witness a fight between their boss and his wife, it triggers a fierce game between the two couples as they start to vie for the approval of the elitist club’s Korean billionaire owner (Youn Yuh-jung), who is also trying to manage her own scandal.
